Level II Radiographer - NDE/NDT Inspection Technician

Location: Dickinson or Watford City, North Dakota; Minot, North Dakota may also be considered. Field and laboratory work with travel to out-of-town assignments is required.

Salary: $60,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on assigned field or laboratory projects.
• Work independently as a crew lead on job sites.
• Train assistants on inspection processes and procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and other work documents on time.
• Apply safe work practices while working on ladders, scaffolds, and field sites.

Requirements

• Recent experience performing radiographic inspections.
• Level II NDT certification and the ability to pass the hirify.global Level II radiography test.
• Meet or exceed ASNT-TC-1A Level II experience and education requirements.
• IRRSP card for industrial radiography, 80 hours of radiography classroom training, and 40 hours of radiation safety training.
• Valid, insurable driver's license; willingness to travel; ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, criminal background, and motor vehicle record checks.

Nice to have

• Level II certifications in magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, or ultrasonic testing.
• TWIC badge.
• High school diploma or equivalent and post-secondary education in nondestructive testing or a related field.
