Material Analyst (Automotive)

Location: Normal, United States; 2nd shift, 6:30pm–3:30am

Pay range: $70,000–$80,000 per year

Automotive manufacturing organization supporting materials and supply chain operations.

What you will do

• Maintain ERP data for item masters, bills of materials, ship-to locations, and inventory parameters.
• Create daily production schedules and record production output in the ERP system.
• Review MRP supply reports, communicate shortages to customers, and coordinate supplier communications.
• Perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory variances, and identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Track premium freight, supplier-caused downtime, debit memos, quality-hold dispositions, and engineering-change communications.
• Report materials performance metrics and support HSE investigations, 8D problem solving, and compliance with safety and MMSA procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a similar field preferred.
• 1–2 years of inventory management experience with a related degree, or 3–5 additional years of materials experience without a degree.
• Experience with materials flow, analysis, or coordination in manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably QAD, and WMS.
• Manufacturing or automotive experience is strongly preferred.
