HR Advisor

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid/onsite

Salary: $70,320–$105,480 per year

What you will do

• Provide employee relations guidance, policy interpretation, and consultation to leaders and employees.
• Coach managers on performance management, feedback, goal setting, employee development, discipline, and confidential communication.
• Support conflict resolution involving workplace tension, performance, attendance, misconduct, health services, and collective bargaining matters.
• Manage case follow-ups with leaders, employees, Employee Relations, and Business HR stakeholders.
• Analyze employee relations case trends and prepare actionable insights and policy or process recommendations.
• Contribute to HR Solutions transformation, knowledge management, self-service resources, training, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent HR experience.
• Typically 3 years of HR experience, with 1–2 years in an HR Center of Excellence, HR Solutions, or Business HR preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, consulting, communication, active listening, empathy, and emotional intelligence skills.
• Ability to resolve problems, think critically, prioritize varied case urgencies, and remain calm during high-stress conflicts.
• Thorough work style with adherence to compliance requirements and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin corporate hybrid/onsite environment.

Nice to have

• HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
