Craftsman I (CNC Machining)

Location: Onsite in Lewiston, Idaho, United States; swing shift position.

Salary: $27.78–$37.36 per hour for Machinist I, plus a $5.00 per hour shift differential. Higher pay ranges may apply depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Operate manual and CNC machining equipment to produce parts of moderate complexity.
• Create basic to moderate CNC programs using CAD/CAM systems.
• Read and write CNC programs in G&M code.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machine shop equipment.
• Provide design feedback and basic to moderate design training to engineering and other staff.

Requirements

• Two years of trade school or equivalent experience.
• Four or more years of machinist experience.
• Ability to read and write CNC programs in G&M code.
• Ability to create basic CAD/CAM programs.
• Ability to lift and maneuver 40 pounds and perform standing, sitting, reaching, bending, gripping, twisting, kneeling, and fine-finger tasks for at least eight hours.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results.
