Manager of Construction, Project Execution (Natural Gas Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Lead construction activities across front-end development, planning, engineering, bidding, contractor selection, construction, commissioning, and turnover to operations.
• Supervise construction managers, inspectors, support staff, and project construction teams.
• Review scopes of work, schedules, cost estimates, drawings, execution plans, contracts, and project risks.
• Direct contractor qualification, capability assessment, personnel vetting, contract compliance, quality issues, staffing, and change orders.
• Implement QA/QC inspection programs and monitor adherence to construction specifications, procedures, standards, and contract requirements.
• Plan workforce and resources, develop employees, and manage costs through budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and progress reporting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 12 years of experience in construction, inspection, or commissioning for oil and gas facilities, stations, or plants.
• Broad understanding of engineering, estimating, and construction management.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, contractor procedures, and work sequences for plants, stations, and pipelines.
• Knowledge of ASME, DOT, API, OSHA, and AWS inspection procedures, plus earned value, schedule of values, Primavera P6, and progress reporting.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, safety, and Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Science.
• 15 years of experience with natural gas pipelines, gas processing plants, transmission compressor stations, or gas gathering projects.
• Previous managerial or supervisory experience.
• FERC project experience.
