Senior Software Engineer- Test

Location: Hybrid role based in Torrance, California, with 4 days per week in the office.

Salary: $171,000–$194,000 USD annually for roles hired in California.

What you will do

• Build and maintain UI test automation infrastructure and end-to-end test suites for web-based applications.
• Develop automated test execution environments across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and system-level setups.
• Build automated test run infrastructure and monitor CI/CD execution, failures, and reporting.
• Use AI tooling to improve automated testing metrics, reporting, and process efficiency.
• Document tests, organize test reviews, and communicate coverage, release risk, and quality outcomes.
• Support UI release validation, release pipelines, and release documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development in test, test automation, or software engineering.
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end automated test suites for web applications.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript, including experience testing React applications and modern frontend architectures.
• Experience with automated testing in CI/CD environments, test plans, test cases, coverage strategies, failure triage, and reporting.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Playwright UI automation and regression testing.
• Experience with test infrastructure, release validation, release documentation, and signoff processes.
• Experience improving CI health, reducing flaky tests, and increasing test stability.
• Familiarity with unit, integration, and API testing frameworks such as Vitest or Jest.
