Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work.

What you will do
- Lead structural-focused business development and develop pursuit strategies, proposals, and client interviews.
- Build and maintain relationships with priority clients and partners across Florida.
- Build, lead, mentor, and support recruitment for a growing structural engineering team.
- Manage complex structural projects, including scope, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Review and approve structural calculations, plans, and specifications while advising on design, constructability, inspections, and assessments.
- Support staffing, workload forecasting, strategic planning, and operational performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 15+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or the ability to obtain one.
- Proven success in project delivery and client relationship management.
- Experience leading teams and delivering high-quality work.
Nice to have
- Experience with water/wastewater or heavy civil structural projects.
- Federal project experience.
- Strong business development and client strategy experience.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary consulting environment.
