Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) (SaaS)

What you will do

• Provide functional expertise on EOIR business operations, workflows, and mission requirements.
• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements for modernization and operational efficiency.
• Validate business and functional requirements with Government stakeholders, business users, analysts, architects, and technical teams.
• Guide requirements validation, solution design, configuration, demonstrations, testing, deployment, and user acceptance testing.
• Review functional designs, use cases, user stories, business rules, workflows, and system configurations.
• Support gap analysis, functional risk mitigation, change management, training development, user adoption, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Department of Justice Public Trust Investigation.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Knowledge of requirements traceability, business process modeling, and change management practices.
• Experience with business process reengineering, Agile methodologies, or enterprise application modernization is relevant.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the Department of Justice, EOIR, or other federal civilian agencies.
• Experience with SaaS, COTS, or cloud-based business solutions.
• Experience supporting business process reengineering initiatives.
