Facilities Technician

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts, with local travel between MKS facilities averaging four times per week. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays.

Salary: $26.11–$44.18 per hour, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Maintain and improve facility safety, energy efficiency, and functionality.
• Operate, calibrate, and expand gas detection systems.
• Maintain HVAC systems and ensure their proper operation.
• Monitor building management systems and their tracking of HVAC equipment.
• Install new equipment and processes in collaboration with engineering, operations, and facilities teams.
• Coordinate maintenance needs across multiple facilities and troubleshoot complex systems.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of related commercial HVAC experience.
• 5–10 years of related experience with gas detection systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel locally between MKS facilities.
• Wastewater experience or certification is highly desired; certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
• Some positions may require U.S.-person status for access to ITAR- or EAR-controlled goods and technologies.
