What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing methods, operation sequences, and processes for parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate new product and product improvement releases with design, software, operations, and other engineering functions.
• Estimate manufacturing costs and time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements using DFx principles.
• Develop test procedures and support test fixture design, development, and sourcing.
• Collect operational and test data, evaluate results, and implement corrective or continuous improvement actions.
• Perform root-cause analysis, failure analysis, corrective actions, and Process Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis for new product development.

Requirements

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in manufacturing engineering and the ability to apply technical judgment to straightforward problems.
• Experience evaluating work methods, procedures, policies, and documented business processes.
• Ability to explain complex information clearly and provide informal guidance to new team members.
• Availability to work in Austin, TX; the role is not relocation eligible.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
