Custodian Data Operations Analyst (Investment Operations)

Location: San Ramon, California, or Reno, Nevada, United States

Salary: $86,700–$102,000 OTE annually; select locations including the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City Metro Area offer $88,000–$104,000 OTE annually.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end custodian connectivity onboarding for an assigned customer portfolio.
• Maintain trackers, status lists, correspondence records, and supporting documentation.
• Collect account lists, custodian contacts, authorization statuses, and other onboarding inputs.
• Prepare standard communications and follow up on authorization and feed setup requests.
• Review reports and files for missing accounts, setup gaps, and incomplete information; escalate issues promptly.
• Coordinate with customers, custodians, project managers, and data migration specialists while improving processes through AI and automation.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in operations, financial services, client service, onboarding, project coordination, or data support.
• Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Comfort working with spreadsheets, trackers, checklists, reports, and operational data.
• Clear written communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be work authorized in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Exposure to investment operations, reconciliations, implementation support, or custodial workflows.
• Experience with customer-facing processes or external counterparties.
• Familiarity with file-based operational processes, account setup, or data validation.
• Experience with AI or automation tooling in an operational context.
• Prior experience training or mentoring junior team members.
