What you will do

  • Lead the sommelier team and act as the resort’s leading sommelier.
  • Assist guests with wine pairing, sell wines, and oversee beverage service in restaurants, bars, and room service.
  • Manage beverage policies, liquor controls, inventories, costs, budgets, and operating standards.
  • Assist with lounge promotion, menu planning, and beverage-related events.
  • Train and supervise beverage staff while supporting exceptional guest service.
  • Maintain food handling, sanitation, legal, and operational compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED plus 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional area.
  • Alternatively, a two-year degree in food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or a related major plus 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with beverage control, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, cost control, sales analysis, and period-end inventory.
  • Ability to train, supervise, and support beverage teams while maintaining guest service and financial objectives.
  • Knowledge of applicable beverage and liquor laws, food handling, and sanitation standards.
