Branch Manager

Location: Opelika, Alabama, United States; office-based with regular in-person attendance required

Salary: $40,000–$42,000 per year, based on experience and location, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Achieve branch goals for loan growth, tax preparation production, profitability, portfolio performance, and delinquency.
• Grow the branch through customer outreach, outbound calls, referrals, community engagement, networking, and promotion of financial products and services.
• Review, approve, and close loans within company guidelines.
• Manage delinquency and collection efforts to maintain portfolio performance and minimize losses.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop branch employees while managing performance expectations.
• Oversee branch operations, ensure compliance, handle escalated customer concerns, and complete required bank runs and occasional local travel.

Requirements

• At least one year of management experience or successful completion of a management training program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance.
• Ability to obtain required insurance licensing and independently transport deposits for bank runs.
• Experience with sales, portfolio growth, profitability, lending, collections, delinquency management, branch operations, and employee development.
• Ability to work in a performance-driven environment involving customer outreach, collections, sales, and frequent in-person customer interaction.

Nice to have

• Background in consumer finance, banking, retail banking, lending, credit, insurance, tax preparation, or similar financial services.
