Site Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; regular presence in manufacturing operations required

Salary: $175,000–$220,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across production, quality, maintenance, and engineering.
• Own site performance across safety, environmental compliance, delivery, reliability, productivity, and operational discipline.
• Manage operating budgets, capital expenditures, financial performance, and capital investment planning.
• Partner with supply chain, product development, logistics, commercial, HR, and functional teams on customer commitments, capacity expansion, and new product introductions.
• Lead transformational initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.
• Develop the Site Leadership Team, succession plans, employee engagement, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, business, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in chemical or comparable process manufacturing.
• At least five years leading multifunctional manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading safety, quality, operational excellence, financial performance, and people development.
• Experience managing operating budgets, capital projects, and cross-functional teams.
• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States required.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced technical degree.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience leading a specialty chemical manufacturing facility.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
• Knowledge of California manufacturing, environmental, and safety regulations.
