Salary: $175,000–$220,000 annually

operates a specialty materials manufacturing site producing epoxy and polyurethane materials for aerospace, automotive, energy, and industrial markets.
What you will do
- Lead daily manufacturing operations across production, quality, maintenance, and engineering.
- Own site performance across safety, environmental compliance, delivery, reliability, productivity, and operational discipline.
- Manage operating budgets, capital expenditures, financial performance, and capital investment planning.
- Partner with supply chain, product development, logistics, commercial, HR, and functional teams on customer commitments, capacity expansion, and new product introductions.
- Lead transformational initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.
- Develop the Site Leadership Team, succession plans, employee engagement, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, business, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in chemical or comparable process manufacturing.
- At least five years leading multifunctional manufacturing operations.
- Experience leading safety, quality, operational excellence, financial performance, and people development.
- Experience managing operating budgets, capital projects, and cross-functional teams.
- Unrestricted right to work for in the United States required.
Nice to have
- MBA or advanced technical degree.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience leading a specialty chemical manufacturing facility.
- Experience in a global, matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of California manufacturing, environmental, and safety regulations.
