Maintenance Tech - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Base pay: $24.66–$29.47 per hour

What you will do

• Install, service, inspect, and maintain production machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and complex electrical problems.
• Maintain motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and other production equipment.
• Read engineering blueprints and electrical schematics while adjusting mechanical parts with hand and machine tools.
• Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades and complete routine safety checks.
• Prepare maintenance reports, maintain repair records, and collaborate on facility projects.

Requirements

• At least five years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and regulations and proficiency with electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, work in confined spaces or at heights, and respond to emergency situations.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
