What you will do
- Lead Loss Prevention Associates in maintaining a safe and secure distribution center environment.
- Maintain physical security and building access for a 1M SQF facility serving more than 3,000 associates.
- Control the trailer yard and maintain physical and systemic ownership of more than 500 trailers.
- Investigate internal theft through exception-report reviews, CCTV surveillance, and certified interview techniques.
- Drive shortage reduction by reviewing operational best-practice compliance and providing actionable feedback.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, develop, and evaluate Loss Prevention team members while partnering with Operations, HR, Engineering, Facilities, law enforcement, and corporate leadership.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of retail Loss Prevention experience.
- Successful completion of internal interview certification process.
- Strong time management, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and partnership-building skills.
- Ability to work at least 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, with occasional longer hours.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, monitor activities across business units, and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, health and safety standards, and training requirements.
Nice to have
- Supervisory experience.
- Previous project management experience.
- Ability to respond quickly to senior-level reporting requests.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
