Senior Accountant (Stripe)

What you will do

• Perform account-level, balance sheet, income statement, revenue, and expense analysis.
• Conduct fluctuation, variance, and trend analysis to identify unusual activity, risks, and business drivers.
• Support the implementation of the Stripe application and collaborate across functions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Contribute to financial close, reporting, controls, and business decision-making.
• Support internal and external audits, investigate accounting matters, and communicate results, risks, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting, audit, financial reporting, or related experience.
• Public accounting experience with audit, financial statement analysis, technical accounting, or financial reporting experience is strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, critical thinking, problem-solving, and financial variance analysis.
• Experience implementing Stripe or a similar system, plus proficiency in Fabric, Microsoft Office, and data extraction or query tools.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and deadline-management skills; CPA or CPA candidacy is preferred but not required.
