Bench Jeweler (Jewelry)

Location: Design and Service Center - Woodmen Commons - Colorado Springs, CO

Salary: $17.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Restore jewelry through polishing, sizing, stone setting, and repair work.
• Perform chain and clasp repairs, prong re-tipping, ring repairs, and platinum rebuilds.
• Create stone mountings and custom jewelry pieces using fabrication, wax carving, and casting.
• Complete CAD/CAM design work according to the current skill level.
• Deliver customer-focused results for custom jewelry design and repairs.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of bench jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Successful completion of a qualified bench test to assess the current jeweler level.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high standard of quality.
• Basic computer skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Full-time availability for a 40-hour work week, including varying hours, some nights and weekends, and seasonal overtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
