What you will do

• Manage litigation matters, pre-litigation disputes, arbitrations, and escalated disputes from inception through resolution.
• Oversee regulatory investigations and inquiries, including attorney general investigations and contractor board complaints.
• Manage insurance claims and partner with insurance and risk teams to improve claims processes.
• Select and manage outside counsel, negotiate engagement terms, set case budgets, and monitor performance.
• Develop litigation strategies and draft or review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and related documents.
• Oversee e-discovery, litigation holds, document retention, matter management, risk reporting, and internal training.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of litigation experience, including substantial law firm and/or in-house experience.
• Experience with complex commercial or regulatory litigation is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, legal research, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with e-discovery tools, litigation management software, and legal hold procedures.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar.
• High integrity, sound judgment, ownership, discretion, and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-growth environment.
