Structural Discipline Lead

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work

What you will do

• Lead structural analysis and design across water infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and building projects.
• Prepare and review technical reports, plans, and specifications.
• Maintain quality and consistency across project deliverables and guide teams through complex design challenges.
• Manage scope, schedules, and budgets for multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE).
• At least 6 years of structural design experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Structural Engineer (SE) license.
• Project management experience.
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff.
