What you will do
- Oversee annual and cyclical salary processes for faculty and staff in line with university policies, collective agreements, and approved programs.
- Analyze and clean compensation data, investigate discrepancies, and resolve unusual compensation outcomes.
- Identify exceptions and risks in faculty appointment and compensation data, escalating policy and labour relations matters when required.
- Manage timelines, communications, approvals, and documentation for faculty salary administration.
- Prepare reports and analyses for senior academic leaders and Human Resources.
- Lead process improvement and reporting projects, including system enhancements and data integrity initiatives.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Five to seven years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and data-validation skills.
- Ability to manage large-scale administrative processes, competing priorities, strict timelines, and confidential information.
- Knowledge of compensation administration principles and salary management processes.
- Proficiency with Workday, reporting tools, Microsoft Office, and particularly Excel.
