Senior Manager - Functional Delivery & Solution Lead (Workday Financials)

Location: United States; primarily remote. Occasional travel to client sites and Alpha offices may be required.

Salary: $162,000–$200,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for a variable bonus.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end functional delivery for complex Workday Financials engagements and manage delivery health, risks, dependencies, scope, quality, and milestones.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and solution reviews with CFOs, Controllers, finance teams, and project stakeholders.
• Translate finance, accounting, control, and reporting requirements into scalable Workday designs and configurations.
• Provide functional leadership across General Ledger, Procure-to-Pay, Expenses, Banking & Settlement, Accounting Center, and financial reporting.
• Direct testing, data conversion validation, UAT, defect resolution, cutover readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Lead client relationships, mentor consulting staff, support resource planning, and contribute to Workday methodologies, accelerators, and practice innovation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Workday Financials delivery experience, including multiple full-lifecycle implementations.
• Experience leading complex functional workstreams and providing solution architecture leadership.
• Deep knowledge of corporate accounting, FDM, General Ledger, multi-entity structures, consolidations, intercompany activity, allocations, and financial reporting.
• Strong executive client management, workshop facilitation, team leadership, and delivery governance skills.
• Active Workday Financial Management or Financials Core certification.
• Financial services or private markets experience is preferred; additional Workday specialty certifications are highly valued.
