TL;DR
Trust Operations Specialist 1 (Trust Accounting/Wealth Management): Processing and reporting client cash and securities transactions within trust accounting systems with an accent on transaction accuracy, account servicing, and operational controls. Focus on balancing accounts, researching transactions, processing fees and transfers, supporting trade settlements, and responding to regulatory exams.
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite at 626 Washington Place

What you will do
- Post cash and securities transactions in the trust accounting system.
- Create general ledger entries and process client transactions accurately.
- Perform daily balancing, account research, fee processing, receipts and disbursements, and statement processing.
- Process trade settlements, asset transfers, income posting, corporate actions, class actions, and account openings and closures.
- Support client account access, online portal setup, and incoming and outgoing account transfers.
- Provide operational support to Trust Operations and Front Office teams, including reporting, special projects, and regulatory examinations.
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of related experience; 1β3 years of retail banking or trust/wealth management experience is preferred for the role.
- Hands-on knowledge of cash processing and/or securities transaction processing, plus accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong project management, communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Basic MS Word and PowerPoint skills, intermediate MS Excel skills, and the ability to use job-related software.
