Area Construction Projects Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ, with business travel throughout the territory and travel between branches, including overnight travel

What you will do

• Implement the construction project strategy for the Southwest Super District and manage the area construction project sales team.
• Lead Lighting Specialists, Gear Specialists, and Project Managers through goal setting, training, performance evaluation, and employee development.
• Build relationships with electrical contractors, architects, engineers, owners, and key suppliers while recommending products for construction projects.
• Analyze quotation data by product type, manufacturer, bid amount, and customer to identify successful pricing and sales patterns.
• Negotiate project deals, coordinate pricing with the Pricing Analysis team, and support value-added services with Supply Chain.
• Help develop large-contractor project strategy and promote eCommerce, digital marketing, StockNow, and digital selling tools.

Requirements

• Four-year college or university degree, or 10–15 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a self-starting and detail-oriented approach.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between branches, including overnight travel.
• Must be able to work in the Phoenix-area territory and travel for business throughout the region.
