Senior Business Officer (Cloud/AI)

Location: Hybrid in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States

Base salary: $171,000–$262,800 annually, plus potential annual bonus or commission and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the framing of customized cloud transactions and negotiation strategies.
• Partner with sales, finance, product groups, and senior management to develop customer proposals.
• Act as the lead negotiator with client procurement, legal, and business executives.
• Review and draft cloud, software license, and services agreements using clear, concise language.
• Drive deal structuring, pricing, contracting, and closing for complex enterprise transactions.
• Balance transaction velocity, risk, and value while building long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience drafting and negotiating large enterprise cloud and technology agreements and complex transactions.
• Experience with complex cloud, software license, and services contracts.
• Detailed involvement in deal structuring, pricing, contract drafting, business terms, and revenue recognition analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree; a JD and/or MBA is preferred.
• Understanding of cloud and AI technologies and general knowledge of revenue recognition.
• Experience partnering with finance and interacting with senior management on strategic decisions.
