Lead Systems Analyst (Ellucian Banner)

Location: Full-time, on-site position based at the Bozeman, Montana campus; occasional travel required.

Salary: $70,000–$98,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.

hirify.global’s University Information Technology division delivers and supports administrative technology services for the four-campus university system, including Ellucian Banner applications running on Oracle databases.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Service Group Finance team.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to prioritize development and support for Finance information systems.
• Analyze requirements, evaluate alternatives, design solutions, specify technical requirements, develop software modules, and maintain major systems.
• Manage projects and tasks across application development and maintenance efforts.
• Coordinate technical problem resolution and collaborate with other Banner teams and committees.
• Provide leadership and technical counsel on university committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with recent directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience analyzing, designing, developing, programming, enhancing, and implementing complex administrative applications using relational databases and transaction processing.
• Intermediate or expert application programming experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and database-driven programming using modern development tools.
• Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing user requests, and delegating work.
• Experience hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring technical staff.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with university ERP systems, preferably Ellucian Banner.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying integration components.
• Experience with Oracle enterprise relational databases, SQL, PL/SQL, or modern software architectures.
• Experience using reporting development tools.
