Per Diem Benefit Counselor - Onsite (US) (Insurance)

Location: United States; onsite assignments are available in several locations, with some work also possible remotely from a call center.

What you will do

• Educate client employees about life, health, and voluntary insurance benefits through face-to-face, phone, or web-based consultations.
• Use fact-finding and relationship-building techniques to identify employee needs and explain suitable benefit options.
• Assist employees with electronic enrollment and ensure applications are accurate and compliant with data privacy and security policies.
• Collaborate with Enrollment Managers, Call Center Managers, and Account Executives to meet client standards.
• Document consultations and administrative activities accurately and attend required meetings and training sessions.
• Work assigned schedules that may include weekends, evenings, or overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of life, health, and voluntary insurance products.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in benefits counseling or a related field.
• Active state license in Life and Health Insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks and screenings.
• Proficiency with Windows and Google-based computer applications; remote work requires a quiet home-based workspace and reliable internet.
