Location: Remote within approximately a 70-mile radius of the Springfield, Missouri, or Monett, Missouri offices; hybrid workplace. Onsite interviews or in-person onboarding may be required.

What you will do
- Directly supervise engineers responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions.
- Oversee business and technical requirements, design specifications, analysis, and recommendations.
- Ensure software solutions and enhancements are tested, debugged, and ready for release to QA.
- Evaluate the practicality of ideas based on projected costs and sales potential.
- Clarify technology strategy and identify improvements that move engineering teams forward.
- Assist with coding and debugging, guide escalated issues, and contribute to recruiting, training, performance reviews, and budgeting.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of technical experience in software development.
- Must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of the Springfield, Missouri, or Monett, Missouri offices.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages and software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to define system and functional requirements, direct software development, prioritize work, and handle complex projects under aggressive deadlines.
Nice to have
- Experience with SilverLake and/or CIF 2020.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong speaking and writing abilities.
