Cost Analyst III (EVM)

Cost analysis support for company departments and projects, including contract and project cost reporting.

What you will do

• Analyze incurred project costs and track purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Develop status monitoring and reporting, including cost reports for FIN 80912 CDRL requirements.
• Respond to program manager and customer requests for cost analysis.
• Identify potential issues using CPR and cost data.
• Develop budgets, maintain ETC/EAC estimates, and maintain project cost databases.
• Prepare funding documentation and support new business activities while interfacing with program and project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of task-related experience, a master’s degree with at least 7 years of task-related experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of EVM experience.
• Knowledge of FAR, CAS, CPFF, and FFP contracts for IDIQ contract awards.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or a comparable project management system; experience with Cognos is also relevant.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management practices, IPMR DI-MGMT-81861, EIA-748-C EVM System guidelines, and EVMS reporting software is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with Deltek Cobra or equivalent EVMS software.
• DAU certifications in Fundamentals of EVM and Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management, or enrollment with completion within six months.
