Senior Associate Director, Digital Content

Location: US Remote

Salary: $108,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage content strategy, production, review, iteration, and maintenance for alz.org and related websites.
• Create and repurpose digital content for health systems, medical affairs, clinicians, and other professional audiences.
• Collaborate with user research, UX, visual design, development, and organizational stakeholders to create accessible digital solutions.
• Manage stakeholder communication, feedback, approvals, planning documents, editorial calendars, and content lifecycles.
• Use SEO, analytics, usability, accessibility, editorial, legal, and style requirements to guide content decisions.
• Maintain site governance documentation, including sitemaps, ownership matrices, processes, and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, library science, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience defining, developing, and evolving digital content.
• Strong writing, editing, leadership, communication, organization, and project ownership skills.
• Experience understanding clinical terminology and writing for providers or payers.
• Expertise in content strategy, information architecture, content mapping, SEO, analytics, audits, and documentation.
• Experience with a content management system, preferably Kentico, plus some HTML knowledge and proficiency in AP Style.
