TL;DR
Senior Associate Environmental Professional (Environmental Consulting): Supporting environmental investigations, analytical data review, project documentation, and growth of the Chemistry and Data Quality Solutions practice with an accent on environmental consulting, client development, and scientific defensibility. Focus on interpreting environmental data, preparing sampling and quality assurance plans, winning consulting opportunities, and balancing project delivery with business development.
Location: Hybrid in Valley Forge, PA, or Knoxville, TN, or fully remote within the USA. Travel to offices, project sites, and project meetings may be required, including occasional overnight stays.
Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually, commensurate with accomplishments, performance, credentials, and geography.

What you will do
- Support business development and growth initiatives for the Chemistry and Data Quality Solutions practice.
- Identify qualified leads, develop proposals, build client relationships, and contribute to strategic account plans.
- Lead or support environmental investigations, remediation projects, and related consulting activities.
- Prepare technical memoranda, expert report sections, presentations, project scopes, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Review laboratory data, method summaries, quality assurance documentation, and analytical results.
- Prepare or critically review sampling plans, Quality Assurance Project Plans, and data management plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
- At least 10 years of environmental consulting experience, including project management and client development.
- Expertise in environmental investigations or remediation, analytical chemistry, environmental data review, or data usability assessment.
- Knowledge of US EPA data validation guidelines and requirements for sampling analysis plans, QAPPs, wastewater, or solid waste.
- Proven success identifying and winning consulting opportunities, developing account plans, and translating client needs into technical solutions.
- Strong scientific writing, communication, presentation, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat skills.
