TL;DR

Focus on provisioning infrastructure, responding to incidents, validating backups, supporting cloud migrations and continuity exercises, and escalating complex technical issues.
Location: On-site at the Russell-Knox Building in Quantico, Virginia, United States
Salary: $54,000–$75,000 per year

What you will do
- Perform routine administration and maintenance of Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.
- Monitor server, storage, application, authentication, and virtualization systems and respond to identified issues.
- Provision and update virtual machines, accounts, groups, permissions, DHCP records, and related services.
- Support SAN, NAS, cloud-storage, capacity-management, and approved cloud migration activities.
- Execute patches, configuration changes, software installations, backup monitoring, restoration testing, and maintenance documentation.
- Troubleshoot incidents, support disaster recovery and continuity exercises, maintain system records, and escalate complex issues to senior administrators.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- One to three years of systems administration or technical support experience involving servers, virtualization, storage, backup, identity, or related infrastructure.
- Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent specialized training and experience may be considered.
- Working knowledge of Red Hat/Linux, Windows Server, VMware or comparable virtualization, and Commvault or comparable backup platforms.
- Knowledge of enterprise storage, backup and recovery, identity services, system monitoring, and applicable NIST and DAF/AFOSI continuity concepts.
- Cloud+ CE, Server+ CE, and/or Security+ CE certifications are required as applicable.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- RHCSA, Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, or Commvault certification.
- Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, SAN/NAS, enterprise monitoring, recovery testing, continuity exercises, or cloud migrations.
- Experience supporting DAF or AFOSI systems and users.
