Electrical CAD/BIM Designer (Revit)

Location: Hybrid role based in Phoenix, Arizona, United States

Salary: $28.00–$33.00 USD per hour, plus performance-based bonuses and equity participation

What you will do

• Develop electrical system drawings and BIM models for building projects based on project scope, client RFPs, and senior engineer direction.
• Prepare design and construction documents for electrical power systems.
• Coordinate electrical drawings and models with HVAC, controls, fire protection, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Apply power flow and distribution knowledge to building electrical systems.
• Use Revit models, families, templates, and clash detection tools in a multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements

• Associate or technical degree in drafting, design, CADD, BIM, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of electrical power design drafting or modeling experience.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and municipal codes.
• Strong understanding of Revit models, families, templates, and clash detection tools.
• Understanding of AC service and distribution, DC power and distribution, standby generators, UPS, grounding, lighting, security, and fire protection systems.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

• Experience with SKM and EasyPower power modeling tools.
