What you will do

  • Provide strategic communications counsel for the U.S. rare blood disorders franchise and its marketed products and late-stage pipeline assets.
  • Develop and execute internal and external communications strategies across disease awareness, brand, digital, and social media programs.
  • Support communications around data releases, regulatory milestones, potential new product entries, and patient advocacy initiatives.
  • Partner with U.S. and global Corporate Affairs and Media Relations colleagues to align messaging and positioning.
  • Manage the rare blood disorders communications agency of record, including strategic direction, deliverables, and execution quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Communications, Business Administration, or Journalism preferred.
  • 5–8 years of experience in product public relations, communications, and/or corporate communications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry or with a healthcare public relations agency.
  • Experience in both internal and external communications, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration, negotiation, influencing skills, and the ability to work in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Role based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States.
