Focus on handling loads up to 100,000 pounds, supporting rail switching and trailer operations, and maintaining materials flow in extreme weather and safety-sensitive conditions.

Location: Brainerd, Minnesota, United States; on-site role requiring reporting to the designated work location

Salary: $271.58–$319.51 per day

What you will do

  • Operate overhead cranes with lifting capacities of 75,000 to 100,000 pounds.
  • Operate, inspect, and service forklifts, stackers, equipment movers, delivery vehicles, trucks, trailers, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Order, receive, ship, disburse, deliver, store, and physically inventory warehouse materials.
  • Track materials and communicate with suppliers and customers about orders and expediting.
  • Assist with rail switching operations, hook work, load securing, and blocking and bracing trailers and containers.
  • Maintain required driver logs and load or unload materials in accordance with safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on-site in Brainerd and in a safety-sensitive environment.
  • High school diploma or GED and a minimum age of 18 by the anticipated start date.
  • Ability to work full-time shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and alternate shifts governed by union seniority.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, and understand English; lift and carry up to 50 pounds; climb ladders; and work at various heights.
  • Valid driver's license and a valid state CDL with H endorsement and current DOT 49 CFR 391.41 medical examiner's certificate, or ability to obtain them within 60 days of employment.
  • Employment authorization must be available without BNSF sponsorship or assistance, including for H-1B, STEM OPT/CPT, and TN status.
