Sales Professional (HVAC): Helping homeowners and contractors select heating and cooling systems through consultative conversations, system design software, and clear recommendations with an accent on technical product learning, customer priorities, and design quality. Location: Remote or hybrid for candidates based in Chicago, Illinois, United States
Base salary: $75,000 per year, plus a performance bonus based on customer outcomes, design quality, and team success.

Products sells heating and cooling equipment online and has operated for more than 20 years, including a broad mini-split product line under the Blueridge brand.
What you will do
- Speak with homeowners and contractors by phone or video to understand their projects, comfort needs, and budgets.
- Use proprietary design software to develop appropriate HVAC system recommendations.
- Explain technical concepts and compare cost, comfort, efficiency, aesthetics, installation complexity, and long-term value.
- Recommend solutions aligned with customer priorities and address questions or concerns that may delay a purchase.
- Follow up with qualified opportunities and guide customers toward purchase.
- Prepare accurate design summaries while balancing sales results, design quality, and long-term customer experience.
Requirements
- Experience in consultative sales, inside sales, customer success, project consulting, or another customer-facing role.
- Ability to learn technical products and systems, ask thoughtful questions, and make recommendations.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly without oversimplifying it.
- Strong listening, organization, follow-up, and ownership skills.
- Comfort using software and learning new tools.
- HVAC experience is not required; comprehensive product and system-design training is provided.

- Experience with HVAC, home improvement, appliances, construction products, building materials, technical products, or other high-consideration purchases.
