What you will do
- Process new and refill prescription requests.
- Select and retrieve appropriate medications and verify quantities.
- Prepare bottle labels and send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification.
- Select packing materials, enclose client-requested materials, and prepare packages for shipment.
- Affix shipping labels, sort packages by carrier, clean equipment, and replenish workstation supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Arizona State Board of Pharmacy license and pharmacy technician certification required.
- Basic math skills and general PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office, internet, and email use.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for lengthy periods, perform repetitive hand and arm movements, and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently.
