Disability Insurance (DI) Claims Analyst

Location: Remote within the United States; Franklin, Wisconsin corporate location

Salary: $60,880–$91,320 per year

What you will do

• Review medical, occupational, financial, and policy information to evaluate claim eligibility.
• Calculate benefits and determine appropriate claim outcomes using policy provisions and sound judgment.
• Communicate with claimants, representatives, employers, field partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and draft professional correspondence throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Manage an evolving caseload, prioritize work, and meet service standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate with medical, financial, legal, technical, leadership, and field resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and risk-assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with empathy and professionalism in sensitive conversations.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities while handling confidential information discreetly.
• Ability to work independently in a production-driven environment and seek guidance when appropriate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management systems, communication tools, and virtual collaboration platforms.

• Prior disability insurance claims experience.
