NPD Project Manager II (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Plan and execute new product development, product introduction, cost reduction, technology integration, and lifecycle support projects.
• Create schedules and product development plans while integrating activities across engineering, product management, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, service, finance, IT, and marketing.
• Translate product requirements into project scope, design, and product realization plans.
• Lead multiple large and complex projects against schedule, cost, scope, and quality commitments.
• Drive hirify.global Development Process gates, design reviews, risk mitigation plans, contingency assessments, and project lessons learned.
• Manage make-versus-buy decisions, shipping and logistics costs, bidding activities, and continuous improvements to the NPI phase-gate process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in new product development, program or project management, or product management for machinery, generators, or other powered products and systems.
• At least 5 years of project management experience supporting complex, cross-functional product development initiatives.
• Strong technical, business process, product development, quality systems, and business planning knowledge.
• Advanced communication, team-building, leadership, and cross-functional influence skills, including the ability to lead without direct authority.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while managing multiple projects and balancing resources, timing, quality, and business goals.

Nice to have

• Experience leading full-lifecycle NPD programs through a formal phase-gate process.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or powered product environments.
