Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; work includes active semiconductor, industrial, construction, cleanroom, office, and field environments.

What you will do
- Develop, modify, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs for semiconductor chemical delivery and distribution systems.
- Configure HMI screens, alarms, interlocks, trends, operator controls, and SCADA or facility-monitoring integrations.
- Commission and start up control systems, perform functional testing, I/O checkout, point-to-point verification, FAT, SAT, and system qualification.
- Troubleshoot PLC logic, instrumentation, sensors, valves, pumps, actuators, communication networks, alarms, and equipment faults.
- Review electrical drawings, control schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, sequences of operation, and cause-and-effect matrices.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, technicians, electricians, vendors, contractors, and customers during installation, commissioning, maintenance, and production support.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting industrial PLC systems and working with HMI or SCADA applications.
- Understanding of industrial control systems, electrical controls, instrumentation, PLC I/O architecture, alarms, interlocks, and sequencing.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, control drawings, and technical documentation.
- Experience troubleshooting digital and analog signals, sensors, transmitters, actuators, valves, motors, and related field devices.
- Ability to support field commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and work around chemical and process equipment while following site safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
Nice to have
- Semiconductor manufacturing, chemical delivery, cleanroom, process-facility, or high-tech manufacturing experience.
- Allen-Bradley or Rockwell Automation PLC experience, including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000, or RSLogix 5000.
- FactoryTalk View, Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC, or similar HMI/SCADA experience.
- Experience with Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC, BACnet, DeviceNet, Profibus, VFDs, motor controls, safety circuits, and control panels.
- AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Bluebeam, alarm management, control-system cybersecurity, or change-control experience; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
