TL;DR

What you will do
- Support the Missile Defense Agency Targets and Countermeasures program with the development of ballistic missile target vehicles.
- Contribute to target design, requirements development and assessment, modeling and simulation, testing, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop and analyze 6DOF trajectory data, coordinate system transformations, and vehicle performance assessments.
- Support mission planning, analysis, and reporting activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering experts to develop analysis and engineering tools.
- Define database requirements, develop schemas and interfaces, and support testing, data management, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, and other programming languages.
- Experience or knowledge related to missile characteristics, including physical properties, kinematics, and signatures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of War security clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency and/or Department of Defense programs and processes.
- Experience with trajectory development tools such as TAOS or POST.
- Experience in design, CAD, trajectory analysis, radar cross-section signatures, or optical signatures.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
