What you will do
- Maintain competence to audit relevant seafood certification schemes.
- Plan and conduct assigned aquaculture, seafood, farm or processing audits.
- Document audit findings and related tasks to a high standard.
- Meet applicable performance KPIs and scheme requirements.
Requirements
- Must be a self-employed auditor based in Turkey, Greece or the UK.
- Good spoken and written English required.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Farm experience is relevant for farm audits; processing experience may qualify for processing plant audits.
Nice to have
- Auditing experience in aquaculture, supply chain, animal welfare, food safety or environmental compliance.
- Lead Auditor or Assessor qualification, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or ISO 22000.
- ASC qualification.
- Relevant post-high-school diploma or equivalent, HACCP, social auditing or fish welfare training.
- Additional languages besides English and more than two years of relevant experience.
