Senior Director - Annuity Product Development

Salary: $160,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategies for annuity and other risk product lines.
• Evaluate, refine, and expand products through new features, enhancements, adjacent-market solutions, and innovative approaches.
• Use field and client insights to co-create products and benefits throughout the development process.
• Represent risk product lines in cross-functional initiatives covering compliance, regulation, servicing, marketing, sales, and financial security planning.
• Analyze competitor products and recommend features and offerings that improve market competitiveness.
• Lead projects to completion within schedule, scope, and budget while supporting field and home-office teams with product questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, actuarial science, marketing, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in insurance product development, competitive research, product compensation, or the risk product insurance industry.
• Actuarial background and strong knowledge of risk products.
• Strategic thinking, decision leadership, consensus building, and project leadership experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
• Series 6 and Series 26 licenses required, or successful completion within six months.

Nice to have

• MBA, JD, FSA, CLU, CPA, or another relevant degree or professional designation.
• 15 years of experience in life insurance product development, competitive research, product compensation, or the life insurance industry.
