What you will do
- Provide professional nursing care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assess patients and families, develop care plans, recommend interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
- Resolve complex patient, management, and physician problems using independent clinical judgment.
- Supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, HUCs, technicians, and sitters.
- Precept new employees and students and contribute to unit orientation programs.
- Lead or participate in process and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of professional nursing experience.
- Active Tennessee State RN licensure required and must be maintained.
- CPR certification required.
- Education must meet the standards required for the applicable license or certification.
- Full-time schedule of 72 hours per pay period on the night shift.
