PE - Proposals Manager (Engineering Services): Developing and submitting engineering service proposals with an accent on cost estimation, project risk evaluation, and milestone and construction scheduling. Focus on coordinating internal reviews, validating scopes, budgets, contracts, and purchase orders, and advising customers on technical solutions for electric power systems.
Location: Lewis Center, Ohio; Alpharetta, Georgia; or Wesley Chapel, Florida. Travel up to 25% is required based on the focus area.
Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year.

What you will do
- Conduct business development meetings with sales representatives and customers.
- Estimate engineering services, subcontractor labor, equipment, and project expenses.
- Coordinate proposal development, internal review, and submission to customers.
- Evaluate and quantify project risks against the proposed scope of work.
- Build front-end milestone and construction schedules.
- Track proposal submission status, due dates, and estimated project execution dates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field; or an associate degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience; or PMP certification or similar with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong technical background and understanding of engineering services, scopes of work, and technical solutions.
- Experience estimating labor, equipment, subcontractor costs, and project expenses.
- Experience developing milestone and construction schedules and evaluating project risks, contracts, and purchase orders.
- Basic knowledge of electric power system protection and control, integration or automation, communications applications, system design, studies, ICT, and protective relay applications.
- Strong writing, documentation, speaking, and customer communication skills; satisfactory background check and negative drug test required.
