Content Moderation Specialist (Online Safety)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; expected to work in an office 4+ days per week

Salary: $28.84–$43.26 per hour in Zone A, plus eligibility for equity in the form of RSUs.

What you will do

• Review publicly distributed hirify.globalchat content against recommendation guidelines, community guidelines, Terms of Service, and product policies.
• Drive quality management activities, regular audits, and quality control improvements.
• Use data and analytical tools to identify issues and trends and support decision-making and reporting.
• Develop policy guidance, product and tooling updates, escalation pathways, and operational improvements.
• Project manage moderation and product initiatives with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Partner with vendor teams and advise hirify.global teams on content trends, policy, and regional and cultural nuances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, judgment, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Experience with policy enforcement and managing multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent data analytics skills for problem-solving, decision-making, and reporting.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal oversight.
• Flexible availability for full-time work and weekends as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in content moderation, operations or program management, product, or a related role.
• Experience in online safety at a technology company.
• Experience with JIRA or similar issue-tracking software.
• Additional language skills.
