Title Officer

Location: Glendale, California, USA; in-office five days per week

Salary: $33.70–$44.93 per hour

What you will do

• Examine chains of title for residential and commercial title orders.
• Analyze mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, probate, foreclosures, bankruptcies, trusts, wills, and property records.
• Review and approve deeds, operating agreements, affidavits, corporate resolutions, and other title documentation.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting title insurability in coordination with customers, attorneys, lenders, and third parties.
• Select commitment and policy write-ups, price title products, and provide underwriting interpretation within established guidelines.
• Support client relationships, business development, customer visits, and escalations where required.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of title or related real estate experience, including at least 2 years of title examination.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with all aspects of title work.
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines under pressure, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work from the Glendale office five days per week.
