Global Product Manager – Solid Wire (Non & Low Alloy)

Location: Any European location where hirify.global has a legal entity; hybrid work environment with approximately 25–30% global travel.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the global product strategy and roadmap for non- and low-alloy solid wire products.
• Manage portfolio positioning, value proposition, and the full product lifecycle from concept through phase-out.
• Lead new product introductions, portfolio simplification, standardization, and cost-down initiatives.
• Partner with R&D, Operations, Sourcing, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure reliable execution and supply.
• Support pricing strategy, profitability improvement, long-range planning, and alignment with regional market needs.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights while supporting technical positioning, product training, and key customer engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, Business, or a related field.
• Proven global product management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding consumables, solid wire applications, and welding, metallurgy, or materials engineering.
• Experience with non- and low-alloy steel solid wires is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial, analytical, strategic, communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
• Fluent English is required.
