Sr Manager, Operations Systems (WMS)

Location: Hybrid in Naperville, Illinois, with work in office and distribution center environments; travel to distribution centers and company locations is required.

Salary: $118,100–$173,140 per year

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Operations Systems leads and analysts, including workload planning and succession planning.
• Lead WMS implementation and enhancement initiatives through build, testing, operational readiness, cutover, and hypercare.
• Partner with distribution center leadership to translate operational challenges into scalable technology solutions.
• Manage project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, governance, release management, and production support.
• Drive KPI-based operational improvements, process standardization, and consistent systems execution across multiple distribution centers.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, distribution systems, and WMS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent experience is considered.
• At least 7 years of experience supporting warehouse, distribution, or supply chain systems.
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience with demonstrated team development results.
• Experience leading multiple WMS implementations or large-scale operational systems initiatives in multi-site distribution environments.
• Ability to work in office and distribution center environments and travel to distribution centers and company locations.
