PQE Engineer II (PCB Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Audit and supervise production, repair, maintenance, equipment setup, environmental process controls, and SPC implementation.
• Prepare process audit checklists and daily reports, issue Corrective Action Requests, and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Investigate customer complaints, major scrap cases, process abnormalities, and other quality incidents through root cause analysis.
• Support supplier quality audits, new material and equipment validation, process trials, and DoE activities.
• Determine the scope of defective products and enforce hold, scrap, rework, or use-as-is dispositions; recommend recalls when necessary.
• Stop production lines or equipment when significant quality risks are identified, and monitor the effectiveness of improvement actions.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial, manufacturing, materials, chemical, quality, or industrial engineering.
• Relevant Quality Engineering experience: 1–3 years preferred; fresh graduates are welcome. Diploma holders may be considered with 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong hands-on exposure.
• Professional knowledge or practical experience in PCB manufacturing or related upstream/downstream industries.
• Experience with process-floor audits, non-conformity tracking, and corrective action follow-up.
• Knowledge of PCB quality management systems and IPC standards.
• Familiarity with 8D, SPC, FMEA, and other quality methodologies, along with the ability to respond quickly to major quality issues.
